Rights and Licences
This page brings together the sources, licences and content rights for Eco.
Geographic data and map
The homepage map uses ONS Countries (December 2025) boundaries and ONS Regions (December 2025) boundaries. Local listing dots use ONS Westminster Parliamentary Constituencies (July 2024) centre coordinates. They place a dot near a constituency catchment when no public venue is available. Source: Office for National Statistics licensed under the Open Government Licence v.3.0. Contains OS data © Crown copyright and database right 2024.
UK postcode geography is matched using the postcode provider and geographic reference data. Names, codes and boundaries may include rights held by the Office for National Statistics, Ordnance Survey, Royal Mail or other source organisations. See the ONS geography licensing information. Eco does not claim ownership of those source datasets.
Map dots are approximate displays of published opportunity areas and postcode search districts. They do not mark a precise address or represent a unique person.
The full map uses OpenStreetMap tiles and contributor data. It uses Leaflet 1.9.4 under its BSD 2-Clause licence, included with Eco's copy of the library.
Organisation and listing content
Organisation names, logos, descriptions and other information on Eco are supplied by the organisation, an affiliate, or added by Eco from public sources. Names and logos may be trademarks of their respective owners. Their appearance does not transfer ownership to Eco or imply endorsement of Eco by the owner.
Each Organisation or contributor remains responsible for rights in material they submit. Eco may edit, review and display submitted content under its Terms of Use. If you believe material has been used incorrectly, contact info@meeteco.org with the page address and details of the rights concerned.
Curated by Eco
Some organisation profiles, actions, events and jobs have a “Curated by Eco” label. Eco added these pages using public information. The details have not been independently verified by Eco and may have changed. Check the organisation’s website or the listing link before you take part or apply.
If you represent an organisation and would like to claim, edit or remove a page, contact Eco. Please include a link to the page and tell us what you would like us to do.
Software and design assets
Eco uses third party open source components, including Bootstrap and Bootstrap Icons, each under the MIT licence. Their licences and copyright notices remain with their respective authors. Eco's own code, design and content are protected by applicable rights unless stated otherwise.
External websites
Links and share controls may open websites outside Eco. Those sites set their own content terms, rights notices and privacy practices. Eco's Privacy Policy explains how Eco handles information when you use the site.
