Help guide a charity that connects communities with climate and nature decision makers.

Hope for the Future is seeking voluntary trustees to contribute to Board strategy, oversight, finance and risk decisions. The charity particularly welcomes experience in fundraising, finance, political engagement, communications, digital strategy and community perspectives. Previous trustee experience is not essential. The Board meets quarterly, mainly online, with some meetings in Sheffield. General trustees should expect a few hours a month on average, and reasonable travel expenses are reimbursed. The current vacancy page says applications close at the end of November 2026, but its linked recruitment pack still says end of October. Please confirm the deadline directly with Hope for the Future before applying. The exact cut off time is not stated on the page. See the official role page and recruitment pack for the full requirements and application instructions.
